SearchScam is a free website trust analysis service. Our service allows you to:

• Analyze the reliability of a website from its domain name
• View trust scores based on objective technical criteria
• Report suspicious or fraudulent websites
• Access information about types of online scams
• Use our API to integrate our analyses into other applications

By accessing SearchScam, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms. If you do not accept these terms, you should not use our service.

• Use of the service constitutes acceptance of the Terms
• Terms may be modified at any time
• Users will be informed of major changes
• Continued use after modification constitutes acceptance

By using SearchScam, you agree to:

• Use the service legally and ethically
• Not make excessive automated requests (rate limiting)
• Not attempt to circumvent security measures
• Not use the service to harass or harm third parties
• Provide accurate information when reporting
• Not defame or disparage legitimate websites
• Respect intellectual property rights

The following uses are strictly prohibited:

• Use for illegal or fraudulent purposes
• Mass scraping or data extraction without authorization
• Denial of service attacks (DoS/DDoS)
• Unauthorized access attempts to systems
• Distribution of malware or malicious software
• Identity theft or false representation
• Commercial use without prior agreement

SearchScam provides analyses for informational purposes only:

• Trust scores are based on technical criteria and do not guarantee the absence of fraud
• We cannot exhaustively verify each analyzed site
• Information provided may be incomplete or outdated
• We disclaim all liability for decisions made based on our analyses
• The service is provided "as is" without availability guarantee
• We are not responsible for financial losses or indirect damages

Regarding the accuracy of our analyses:

• Our algorithms are regularly updated and improved
• False positives or false negatives may occur
• User reports enrich our analyses but may contain errors
• We encourage cross-verification of information
• A low score does not automatically mean a site is fraudulent

Regarding intellectual property rights:

• SearchScam content (texts, images, code) is protected by copyright
• Trademarks and logos are the property of their respective owners
• Use of our API is subject to specific conditions
• Content reproduction is authorized with source attribution
• Analysis data may be shared for non-commercial purposes

For API users:

• The API is subject to rate limits
• An API key may be required for certain features
• API abuse may result in access suspension
• API data must not be resold
• API availability is not guaranteed

Regarding the reporting system:

• Reports must be made in good faith
• Intentional false reports may result in penalties
• We reserve the right to verify and moderate reports
• Reports are processed within a reasonable time
• Reporter anonymity is preserved unless legally required

Regarding service termination:

• You may stop using the service at any time
• We may suspend or terminate access for Terms violations
• Upon termination, some data may be retained in accordance with law
• Liability sections remain applicable after termination

These Terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute, amicable resolution will be preferred. Failing that, French courts will have jurisdiction.
